MHOW - An Ideal Place to Visit And Live.

If you wish to recite Wordsworth's nature poem , Mhow is an ideal place. MHOW , known as Military headquarter of war, but a beautiful & peaceful place.It is one of the oldest Cantonments founded by John Malcolm in 1827.

It is  said that every persons who work for army have to come  Mhow once in their lifetime for training. It is also called Mecca Medina for army personals.It is a base for the military training specially for the officers of military Communication Technology and Engineering that is MCTE and other like AWC: ARMY WAR COLLEGE MHOW. INFANTRY.

 It is  located not only in my heart but also in the central part of India, 23 km from Indore In Madhya Pradesh.Its  a cantonment area. Recently, it was renamed as Dr Ambedkar Nagar, as being the birthplace of Dr Ambedkar, the father of Indian constitution.
My Favorite attractions in MHOW
The most exciting thing in Mhow is,  we get our picnic rugs out to )plan a nice family day out and enjoy the sunny day, outdoors. Here is a list of all the places where we can devour a meal under the sun and indulge in some fun-packed activities
Patal Pani - A scenic waterfall that'd sweep you off your feet. While visiting Patalpani Waterfall, one can also visit the Maheshwar & Omkareshwar and other pilgrim sites in the region.

Away from the noise of the world, the Ahilya Fort in Maheshwar is ranked among the favourite picnic spots for families who are interested in spending a day right next to history and river Narmada. It is a famous tourist spot located on the Indore-Mumbai highway. 
The Janapav Kuti ,the ashram of Jamdagni, the father of Parashuram, is a mountain that offers a spectacular view of the area where you can go for a walk around or even trek your way to find a quiet spot to lay out your picnic.

The region around the Choral Dam is blissfully peaceful at any time of the year. The Choral Dam is a perfect place to spend the weekend. 
Bercha Lake is a safe and family spot for having a day away from the hustle bustle  of city life..
It caters pleasant weather.

Mhow is also famous for it's people and delicacies and sweets by statewide renowned Bhanwarilal in extended outlet. In garments,bedsheets from Rajkumar mills,ladies smocking gauns , men's suite specialist, and hand made shoes, Hand made paintings, wooden & leather crafts are very famous. 

Maheshwari and Chanderi silk sarees and suits. Bagh print, an age-old block printing technique using natural colors, is a specialty of Mhow.

Last but not least , it is heart of Nation where all religion people, Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Christian, Parsi, Buddhist live with harmony.

Tailoring is also famous many army personnel who were once posted here still gets there clothes stitched here .
Overall, Mhow is a nice place to enjoy the retired life in the lap lush green nature. 
Every place in mhow is at walking distance. 
Residential areas are also coming up. Sumeru hills , a beautiful township is a perfect place to be connected to nature.Even plots are also at affordable cost but only for residential purpose not for investment.
